Change Chart Pivot series Colour depending from Pivot Table Filter value

    Hello,

I have a Pivot table with one filter set.
I'd like to execute an instruction for each value that I choose in the filter: i.e. If Pivot Filter = "a" then Chart Pattern = red.
I've tried with the "Change Property" with Target.Address but when I change the value of the filter the worksheet doesn't feel the "change".
I tried with a workaround: I set a cell outside of the pivot table equal to the Pivot filter value but the worksheet doesn't fell the change unless I enter in the cell and click enter.
    How can I solve it?

    Thanks
    Regards

Just a thought but does the Custom Views functionality offer anything?

Thanks Richard. I don't think it will help.
I actually "only" need to change the Pivot Chart Series (Histogram) Colour depending from the value of the filter set in the Pivot Table...
