With Excel 2013 and 2016, for every workbook opened, a separate task-bar window is opened on the desktop.
With previous versions of Excel, there was a setting to not "Show all Windows in the Taskbar" For example, in Excel 2007, the setting was:
Options ... Advanced ... Display section, un-check Show all Windows in the Taskbar.

With newer versions, there is no setting.

Has anyone come across any code to have only 1 window open. Alt-Tab could be used to cycle through the workbooks, or use Switch Windows function.
