Need help building macro to autodial phone numbers using third party software

Hi Everyone! New to this forum, and not at all an expert with macros. I was wondering if someone could help me create one to make my life easier at work. We have a system that allows us to call existing clients from excel and it rings out to our desk phone. It is quite a receptive task and a macro would make my life much easier.
I have tried using "record macro" function but it is not capturing the commands. If someone could please help me create a macro that will do the following:

    Start at any cell
    1. Move left
    2. Right click to the menu dropdown appear
    3. click "L" which will select the appropriate secondary drop down'
    4. click "Enter" which will dial the phone number
    5. go down one cell
    6. go left one cell

Im not sure if this possible, but given my limited understanding of macros, I believe it should be.

    Thank you for any help!

    Re: Simple Macro Help

    Step #3 is confusing.

Are you speaking of doing this with EXCEL ?

If so, what is "L" on the right-click dropdown ?

And ... I don't believe there are any command selections to dial a phone number.

    ????

    Hey logit,

Thanks for the quick reply. The command to dial a phone is from a third party my company uses (Cisco) which is integrated into excel.
And let me clarify on the “L” thing. “L” is the underlined letter which will automatically open another menu in the drop down. By typing “L” on my keyboard, it will open the secondary drop down.

I will try to upload a video so you can see what I am talking about.
