Importing file from Ms Access file "Database" and displaying the differences

Hello there, I would like to know how to create a userform called “Import and Export Order Data” that will allow the user to import
client details any time from an external database (in Ms Access format), and export the order data to the same database when closing. Furthermore, I would also like to know how to write a code such that when importing the access file, any differences (between the records in the worksheet and the database) should be recorded and reported in a separated worksheet called “Differences”.

    Thank you!

    Hi and welcome.

All you mention above can be done but we'll need to know a whole lot more information.

Have you created your UserForm yet? If so can we see it (attach the workbook it's in rather than a picture of it).
    What's the database path?
What's the database structure? (table names & field names in each etc.)
Which tables and fields do you want the UserForm to extract data from?

When you say 'export the order data to the same database when closing' do you mean add a new record or overwrite the old one?

I could go on and on with questions I'd ask if I were the developer on this (this is the sort of work I do for a living) but the above will do for now.

A forum or google search for "Populate userform from access database" should bring up some guidance on how to do this.

If your database is complex then it could be a big job, but it's certainly not impossible.
