Search list for value and then copy and paste text into cell on same row

Hi Guys

In Column A i have a list of device serial numbers.

In Cell F4 i want to be able to type in the serial number and then in cell F8 i want to type a value.

When i run a macro i want the macro to search the list of serials in column A for the serial number i placed in Cell F4.

Then i want the macro to copy any value that is entered in Cell F8 and then paste this information on the relevant row in Column D.

Can anyone help with this?

Copy and paste this macro into the worksheet code module. Do the following: right click the tab for your sheet and click 'View Code'. Paste the macro into the empty code window that opens up. Close the code window to return to your sheet. First enter a value in F4 and then enter a value in F8 and exit the cell.
