How to address locked cells, how to work with them

I'm asking an English speaking forum, because I couldn't find an adequate answer in a German forum:

How can I get the value of target.row and target.column despite the cell is locked? How can I do that? Leftclick, rightclick, a subroutine should be called for further processing.

I am retired and spend time working with VBA Excel. I don't have much experience with that.
I am interested because it is, as I see it, an exceptional program. I want to familiarize with it.
