    save date from 2 different tabs to one new excel file??

    I'm trying to create a backup macro that copies data from 2 different sheets in my program onto one new workbook. Then be able to later load the saved data back in. I'm working on the saving part now and I'm stuck getting the data out. Im using

    workRng2 isnt copying or pasting onto tab 2 of the new workbook. Any ideas? I dont want to have to save the data on 2 seperate workbooks if possible.

    does new workbook come with two worksheets?
    i know that default changed to 1 from 3 with Excel 2010 on wards

    the end file only has one. Not sure how to make it 2

    if its only your computer you can just simply change your default settings to be 2 sheets instead of 1

    alternatively add Worksheets.add into your code
    something like
