    Re: VLOOKUP OVER TWO different datasheets

    If you are trying to return the value for "K" from the "Datenbank" sheet in cell C5, you should change your formula to the following: =VLOOKUP(C4,Datenbank!A1:B6,2,FALSE) ; This formula returns the value for K from the Datenbank sheet in attached workbook. I hope this helps if I am understanding what you are trying to do.

    Why do you want to use INDIRECT?

    =VLOOKUP(C4,Datenbank!A:B,2,FALSE)

    You may need ; instead of ,

    UNLESS, of course, you are planning to have a dropdown in E4 with a range of sheetnames, in which case use this;

    =VLOOKUP(C4,INDIRECT("'"&E4&"'!A1:B100"),2,FALSE)
