Disable AutoRecover for this workbook only

    Hi,

I have checked the option "Disable AutoRecover for this workbook only" but still when the workbook is restarted after some crash it shows the versions like xlsb format.

How can we actually disable it through VBA?

The idea is to not show any AutoRecovered versions , and if the Excel crashed just leave it and do not restart.
    Teach me Excel VBA

    Hello ImranBhatti,

Place this line of Code in the appropriate place of your Code, which we don't have.

Although is refers to "AutoRecover" it also encapsulates "AutoSave".

    Thanks Winon

I have placed this in the open event event of the workbook. Now I don't want to forcefully reproduce the crash of my book. I have also placed "Thisworkbook.save" after every line of code that changes something on any sheet. if there is a crash then will let you know.

But gonna mark thread as "Solved".

Thanks Logit as well for the discussion link.

Yes added so that the open event should not try to set it to false if it is already false.
