    Creating a Schedule via Excel

    Hi All,

Alright, here's my current task. I'm trying to create a schedule for work that assigns a manager to open, mid, or close- with that, it has to cross check against availability and against preferences (i.e. close on tuesdays preferred, open on thursdays preferred) and make sure they arent doing over 40 hours a week.

I know this should be done in a database, however no access to Access. Any thoughts on how I can create a code for this?

Sorry about that! Thought I had included it.

Ideally the person in charge of scheduling would be able to hit he schedule button, select the month and when hitting the create schedule button on that userform populates that month's tab with a schedule.

Ideally when creating that schedule it cross-checks if that person has a request for the month (off, can't open but can close etc) and create a schedule around that - should end up with everyone have 40 hours if FT and 32 if PT.

It doesn't have to be perfect- im expecting the scheduling manager to go in and adjust every month, but im hoping this can be something hat gives a good start and then it's just tweaking. Totally know im asking for a lot
