Get date, day and month

Hello there, excuse me for this question but i currently have a userform datepicker that i use, right now it only displays the day selected, what do i need to do so it gives me day and month, like 15Dec or 1512 somthing like that.

I want to avoid special characters coz i will be user that value to create sheets and reference to them. im afraid that / or - will not work well.

hi again, im sorry to reopen this thread but i thoutgh this was solved but the thing is not.

The problem here is that the true value of that cell is the full date, and i need that to be just, ddmmm like 13dec or 1312, coz i want to do some indirect functions on this sheet to get values from others named after the date.

what i original had was just the value of the cell beeing dd. but i need that to incorperate the month aswell. the value of the cell not the display text.
