I have a workbook which we use daily to import invoices to Quickbooks. In that workbook we have an Invoice worksheet and a Draft worksheet. We currently do a manual import on each of those sheets from a sheet in other workbooks which we receive multiple times a week and reside in a specific directory. One of the Workbooks we receive contains worksheet 1 which is a draft. That workbook is named with the following(EFT Draft for 1000150 - 20180227 - ($207.49). The other workbook contains worksheet 1 which is an invoice and that workbook is named with the following(Sales Invoice 0347918 for 1000150 - 20180109). Keep in mind that these workbooks are titled differently every time we receive one.
What I have in mind is a popup dialog box where we could type a piece of information from the workbook title such as $207.49 for example and it would be search the directory and then populate the Draft worksheet or 0347918 and it would search the directory and populate the Invoice sheet.
I have no idea where to start on this as my vba skills are very basic to non existent.
