    Is there any way to remove the 1st row from several tab delimited (.txt) files in a folder

    Dear all,

    I want to remove the first row from more than 100 "tab delimited"(.txt) files in a folder.

    Is there any way to do this via Excel (2007) or R.

    Any comment is appreciated
