I often want to post some data that I keep in Excel to reddit in table form. Reddit uses Markdown formatting for posts.
A Markdown table is formatted with pipes between cells and needs two spaces at the end of each line. For example:
I'd like to be able to highlight an area of my Excel worksheet and run a macro that would generate the necessary Markdown for reddit. Can anyone help?

Here's a suggestion in the attached file.
Select the range and run the macro.
You can either have the string output in the immediate window or the VBA editor or directly sent to the clipboard. If you keep the clipboard option, you will simply have to paste in Reddit.

Re-exploring this a bit...
How could I select only visible cells in the selected range? If I hide rows or columns, or apply a filter, how can I have the hidden data excluded?
