    Simple Macro crashes excel

    Hi

I have created a basic macro to increase the value of the D2 cell contents by 1 every time it is run - as below:

However, every time I run it, it crashes excel.

I have tried running this macro in a workbook with nothing else in it as well as my master workbook which has other macros and calculations in it.

I am able to run much more complex macros without crashing excel - any thoughts/suggestions?

    Re: Simple Macro crashes excel

    Do you have any add-ins?
Are you sure the book was a empty workbook aside from adding this bit of code to it?

What version of excel are you on?
entering that in your details may help ppl find solutions for you.
If you want something done right... find a forum and ask an online expert.
