Macro to strikethrough row when button pressed

Hi,

I have created a button with a search box and need a macro that will search for the value in the search box on a sheet full of data and if the number is found, strikethrough the entire line.
There will be roughly 4000 lines and I'm using column A as the source for the search box.

Is this possible?

Which cell in column A is the search box? Can the number be anywhere on the sheet or is it in a particular column?

Hi Mumps1, The search box is on another sheet using a textbox and a button to enter the search criteria. There are other requirements that you also might be able to assist with if you look at my original post.
