Hi All,

Thank you in advance for your help as i'm sure there are requests for help made frequently.
In a nutshell, i'm creating a spreadsheet for a custom version of the board game Cluedo and needed some help with conditional formatting.
With reference to picture (A), I'm trying to make the color of the font in a particular cell within the "Suspects" column change after 7 out of the 8 cells in column "X" are marked with any value. The idea is that after 7 out of the 8 "X" cells have been marked, the associated unseen suspect will have its font color changed to highlight to the player which suspect is the murderer. The resultant action will result in picture (B).

You can use a conditional format rule.

If, for sake of example, we assume your values above are stored in A1:D9 (row 1 being headers) - then with A2:A9 being selected apply following Conditional Format rule ("use a formula..." option):
