Create Shapes from list

I'm trying to create a bunch of shapes for a project. And since I like to over complicate things (and am trying to learn), I decided, that this needs a macro. Attached is an example of what i'm trying to create.

This is my first time using shapes with VBA, but seemed like a relatively easy way to get my feet wet. 2019-01-14_08h17_01.png Insert shape example.xlsx

I had found the code below online (https://www.encodedna.com/excel/how-...-using-vba.htm), but didn't understand it well enough to modify it to fit my need.

What are your needs?

Various shapes (lets say squares and triangles) with text inside of them, all created from a list containing a)What the text should be and b) what the shape should be. The key is the shapes should be of uniform size so creating them all by hand is a pain.
