excel not responding shut down

Dear,

I am trying to automate a couple excel databases unfortunately we are facing some problems.
Is there a VBA code which can close the excel incase it doesn't respond anymore.

What is happening when excel no longer responds?

it just stays like that end eventually the vba script will say end or debug
