Customized/external icons for customized ribbon

I am trying to use my own icon for the customized ribbon. Answers by google direct me to download a "custom UI editor" which links to a website "//openxmldeveloper.org" which is now shut down.

Is there any other ways to use your own icon in the customized ribbon? Any help appreciated!

Thank you Andy! I did check the page but the link for UI custom editor was shut down (//openxmldeveloper.org) that's why I wonder if there's other ways to do it.

I also have another question if you know it: I can clearly see a customized tab with the icon(of the new group) but when I tried to edit the customization I couldn't see it anywhere in the left or the right boxes (choose command from or custimize the ribbon). Do you know how I can see them? The icons appear to be external photos and they are not clickable, no macros are assigned.

Did you check the link immediately below, which says if the .org link does not work use this local copy?

The left and right boxes I meant are the manual when you right click in the ribbon area-->customize the ribbon-->(excel options)customize ribbon and then you see left where you move the command to the customized group on the right. I should be able to see the customized group name or tab name there to rename it, for example but I don't.

You will only see changes you have made to the applications ribbon, rather that an individual workbook. The rename button should show a dialog with textual change and a small selection of icons.

Maybe worth reading the other pages in ribbon customisation on Ron's website.

I have attached the file could you have a look for me? The tab "Client" has 3 new groups but I can't edit them because I can't find them in the manual

If you open the excel file in the custom ui editor you will see the xml and images.
