Drop-down lists - select multiple options with sheet protection

Good evening,

I have the following code in a spreadsheet which allows users to:

• Insert their initials in column A and a date/time stamp appear in column B
• Select multiple options from a drop-down list in column C.

This has worked fine, until today when I've had to turn on sheet protection to stop users mucking up the formatting etc.

The date stamp is still working, but I'm no longer able to select multiple options from the drop-down list due to the protection.

Is there any way of allow this with protection still applied?
