    Question Quick Auto-Filter Question

    Hi Everyone!

I work at a hotel and have a workbook in which we're going to be logging guest issues. I've pieced together code from various example workbooks and the data input user form is actually working surprisingly well (especially since I'm pretty rusty on the programming end of things).

Anyway, my problem comes up when I try to use a textbox embedded within the main data sheet. The workbook I "stole" it from was able to type something into the box and have the results filtered in real time based on that input. However, after I added additional columns into that sheet, the filter is now being applied to the incorrect column and I just cannot find the issue for the life of me. (I hope that made some kind of sense.) Additionally, it seems to be hiding any data with numbers in Column B for some reason...

Basically what I'm asking is, in the workbook I've attached, how do I get the textbox to filter data in Column C instead of Column B?

change the field number to 3

It's hiding numeric values, because it isn't text. Place an ' in front of the numbers to make them text.

Here, I've included a more "realistic" list of data.

    Re: Quick Auto-Filter Question

Actually it looks to be working with the previous fix you suggested. WOO-HOO!

While I have your attention, though, is there an easy way to restrict input into the combo boxes on my data entry form? I'd like the only options available to be the ones I've specified.
