Insert formula into table so that it carries down entire table column length

    Hi All,

I am trying to insert a formula into the top cell of a table so that it automatically copies down the entire table column length.

The below line of code acts exactly as I want, however, the formula I want entered is different.

The same line of code, but with the formula that I actually want throws an error: Run-time error '1004': Application-defined or object-defined error

Why does this happen, and how do I fix it?

    Thanks,
    Carlos

Edit: Upon closer inspection, I think I see what is happening, but not how to fix it. It appears that the ' symbols are creating comments out of my formula. Help!

You haven't given enough information to explain what you are trying to do or what you want the formula to look like, but I'm going to guess you want this to show up in your table:

    =INDIRECT("'" & TEXT(B2,"00000000") & "'!A2")

So in your code you want:

When you want to include the " character inside a string, you must double it.
