Normally I have a sheet ready to go with the question in hand but I am not at the office at this point.
I have a spread sheet and on the tab titled "Data Entry" I have it set to turn an entry red if it is outside of the tolerances. Since many different types of samples are entered in the "Data Entry" tab the tolerances vary so I have another tab with all the tolerances on that sheet and conditional format "Data Entry" to turn the font red when it is outside of the limits. This part works great and out of tolerance limits turn red as expected.
What I was curious about is when an font color is red, is there a VBA that will show a prompt asking "Are you sure this entry is correct and you verified test?" and the operator would have to clink a yes or no button. No allowing the correction of a typo. The only red font on the sheet is stuff that is out and requires a second look or derogation so all red font is bad in this case.
Thank you for the time and my apologies for not providing a sample sheet but I'm thinking someone may know without needing one about the possibilities of doing this.
