HI all,

First time poster and total n00b when it comes to Macros/VBA etc.

I've recently updated my work computer and lost an old programme I used to used to create photographic schedules.
I was therefore trying to see if there was a way to do this in Excel.

Basically, what I tend to do it name each photograph to describe what it shows. Then I would use the old programme to create a an A4 sheet with two photos on each page with the file name beneath as a description of the drawing.

Now I was hoping I may be able to do this with Excel but having no knowledge of VBA script writing or Macro writing I've got no idea what to do.

I'd was hoping there would be a way to select a folder and then Excel would then instert all the images to a same size (height) and then in the cell to the left of each image insert the file name (note: NOT the entire file path)

I have found a seciton of script online which allows me to do the first part of this, it just sizes the photographs to match the cell height. BUt I can't find anything to do part 2 of this and ideally I'd like one Macro to do it all at once.

I was hoping someone here may be able to help me with this as I can't find anything more online to help me except other programmes. BUt to be honest I was hoping to just be able to do this with a Macro rather than additional software.

I hope I've explained what it is im trying to achieve clearly enough...

Thanks in advance,
Rob
