Not sure exactly where to post this, however my excel program contains a lot of VBA code.
There is a slicer on one worksheet that takes info from a table - no vba code involved in the slicer or the table.
On my desktop PC and another desktop PC it works like a dream, however on a couple of Laptops when the user selects in the slicer, it puts up the circle loading message, then a few second after, it closes down the entire excel (any open workbooks), and re-starts excel. (no error messages or "do you want to save?" messages).
Everyone is using windows 10 and excel 2016.
the table consists of about 20 columns but only 50 rows.
the slicer only sorts three criteria.
Have tried the following with no sucess:
disabling graphics accelleration,
putting slicer on same worksheet,
put workbook file on hard drive of laptop (instead of over network)
I want the program to work on all versions of excel 2016 and any laptop/PC, but I don't want it to crash disastrously on certain laptops!
Is it better to give up with the slicer (a shame), or is there something I can do to work around or fix the issue.
Please help, thank you.
