Need help with Macro that filters, combines, then saves as different workbooks

    Good Morning,
I have tried with no success to create a macro that does the following on my “mock-up” data set. I have read everything the forums have and still no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated as it would save me days of work on my real data set.

    1. I want to filter out the “Before Example’ file based on each classification field
    a. keeping ONLY the visible filtered classification data
    b. FYI: There are 27 actual classification fields in my real data set
    2. Then copy / combine this data into a new “Summary” sheet
    a. Sorted by customer ID (low to high)
    3. Then save as a new workbook as – ‘After “filtered classification name” ’
    a. Resulting in 3 saved work books (After Fruit, After Meat, After Vegetable)

Example of original file and needed file are attached.

    Thank you for your help,

    Josh

    Hi again,

Many thanks for your very prompt feedback and also for the Reputation increase - much appreciated!

You're very welcome - I'm glad I was able to help.

I think I can provide a facility which will help you to accommodate additional Classifications - let me know how things are when you incorporate your real data set.

    Best regards,

    Greg M
