    Format and Date enter in multiple files

    Dears, I had 1000's of workbooks with same worksheet names (large data files). Now I need to do in all files on the specific work sheet specific cell enter a data. Next thing I need to keep same format of on the specific worksheets Can you please help on this.

    Let me see if I understand.
    1. Are all the files that need to be updated in the same folder/subfolder? If yes, path to folder?
    2. if yes, are there files in the folder that are not to be updated?
    3. Is the data to be entered the same for all files? Same Sheet? If yes, Sheet Name?
    4. Will the data be entered into the same cell for all files? If yes, cell address?

    Z:/Output under this folder, has many sub folders and many files all are different names for example 2018/Jan, Feb, Mar., etc 2019/Jan, Feb, Mat., etc.I need to format all files

    All files need to update and format.

    Sheet name Input. Cell number A5 Data 1517USD

    Another thing I need to format the cells in same file another sheet
    Sheet name Template
    Row 1,2,3 height 25, row 4 height 75 all others rows autofit with contents
    Column a, b, c width 20, column d, e width 50, column f,g,h width 10
    Cells from d5 & e5 to end justify format

    Here is some code to test. I cannot test it is specific to your workbooks. When the code is executed it will direct you to select the Path to the correct sub-folder. You will need to do this for each sub folder in your Z directory. Once you have selected, it will process as directed. If I were you, I would start off with some test files in a sub folder to make sure it does as you require. The last thing you need is for it to disrupt and trash your live data. Test and re-test to ensure its reliability as once the macro runs there is no going back. In other words, there is no UNDO.
