    Subscript Out of Range

    I am using a VBA routine to (try to) open an Excel file.

    I've used this routine before without a hitch. I am now trying to use it again in a new procedure.
    However, I'm getting "subscript out of range" when I try to run it. That error message tells me absolutely nothing.
    (novice VBA, besides).

    The function prompts for a file and should open it into the existing workbook and name the sheet "Input".

    What nonsense!!! I just moved the macro from the ThisWorkbook to a Module and it works. Crazy.

    A Subscript out of Range error occurs when you attempt to access an element of an array or Collection that does not exist.

    Which line throws the error?
