I have a long string which is used to query an SQL database. I suspect there is a typo which is stopping it working. The locals window shows the start of the string but I need to see it all.

Ctrl+G to get to the immediate window then something like this:
Replace sqlString with your variable so save it to file. Alternatively, Ctrl+G and just:Please Login or Register to view this content.

WBD answered nicely already, and that works well. Personally I usually dump my sql string into a cell for debugging purposes, and then use the formula bar (which I drag down for additional height) to evaluate the string.
