I found a Google Sheets file that contains a script. It does a few things with data validation. Among them, I believe it makes multiple dependent drop down lists dependent on all lists that come before it, and it only requires one data table, which is is arranged in a specific way that I need. For example, the 3rd drop down list is dependent on BOTH the 2nd AND 1st drop down lists that come before it, not just the 2nd list like usual. As a result, only criteria that matches the 2nd and 1st drop down values will show up under the 3rd list.
In my case, I have the dependent drop down lists Brand, Type, Product, and Size. The correct products need to show up under the correct brands and types. In Excel, I have found out how to do this a different way, without VBA and with using more tables, but it's not quite what I want and is too messy.
Is it possible to modify the script in the Google Sheets file to work in VBA for Excel?
Because I am too new, I cannot post links yet. So I have attached an Excel workbook that contains the link to the Google Sheets file/example I am describing. Also, the script can be found either in the workbook on the 2nd page, or in the Google Sheets file, although it is much easier to read in the GS file because it is color coded there.
Thank you so much for your time, I really appreciate anyone who even reads this.
