Foreign language or symbols in Outlook subject line when mailed using macro in Excel

I'm using a macro that emails a report from excel as an email attachement to my salesmen. The macro also enters text into the subject line. For some reason it is changing the text from English to what looks to be Japanese or Chinese. Below is the part of my code that sends the open file.

The info in the subject line would be very helpful to those who receive it but useless as is of course.

Anyone else have a problem with language being converted to something else? I am using Excel 2010.

    thanks,

    Wes

Whilst I do not consider this a thread hijacking, I do echo Pepe's advice about opening your own thread, given the age of this thread and the lack of responses.
