Floating Command Buttons

Hi,

I am trying to add an active x control button to sit on a spreadsheet.

I have followed the instructions here: https://www.extendoffice.com/documen...nd-button.html

Turn things on, put the code in the sheet module etc. But it does not work.

The only difference between the active control button and the normal buttons seems to be that with the active x button - a right click on the mouse doesn't so anything.

Any ideas?

What exactly are you trying to do ????
At present there is no code on the button, all that happen is if you change a cell value it will move once only to a new position.
A key event needs coding for the key to activate anything.

Hi Torachan,

I want the control button to move up/down/left & right as I scroll the window.

My workbook that it is going into is quite wide and quite deep.

At the moment, I have to Press Ctrl Home to get to get where the normal control buttons are located.

All Good. I decided to do it via a Ribbon.

Your present setup achieves this if you simply click a cell the command button arrives approx centre screen.
attached is similar action, but button arrives below cell clicked.
