Hello everyone,
I have a lot of .xlsx reports in the folder C:\Reports. The names are like r_ABC, r_DEF, r_GHI, etc.
Now I need to copy a sheet from these Excels files to their related main workbook in the folder C:\Main. These workbooks have the names such as ABC, DEF, GHI. I want the report 'r_ABC.xlsx' to be copied (1st sheet) to the ABC workbook, report 'r_DEF.xlsx' to be copied to the DEF workbook. So I check the file names and if they match then I just make a copy across.
Is there a clever macro to allow me to do this easily? Otherwise I can do manually although there are over 40 files to do repeatedly one by one.
