Split Excel file into 5 CSV based on Date

Attached is an excel file that I need to first Sort by Column R (okay easy), but then split into 5 CSV files, based on each of the dates

Column R, S, T, and U will change every week.

CSV should contain the Header Row Plus the data in columns A:U for all of the items that ship on that day

    Ship1
    Ship2
    Ship3
    Ship4
    Ship5

Each week it can overwrite the old files, that is fine...

    How do I even begin?

    Arrow

    Column R is empty ‼

Attach a new workbook according to your explanation and the expected result csv file
according to this new workbook attachment …

As a starter you can activate the Macro Recorder and just operate an easy SaveAs
with the selection of a csv text in the dropdown file.

Re: Split Excel file into 5 CSV based on Date

So sorry! I did not realize R was blank.

I have attached an updated version that has R filled in. I could do a macro recorder to split, but the problem I have is what may appear in column R as ship date 1 this week, may next week be ship date 2.... and the number of items that appears in ship date 1, 2, 3, etc may be different each week.

Any expected result csv text file ? Any information about export filenames ?

So I'm sure you are very confident with your VBA skills to modify any answer code in order to well fit your need …
