    Hidden internal memory?

    Hello,

Does Excel have some kind of hidden internal memory?
    the situation:

I have a .xlsm file with timetracking from all our collegues. I have a pivot table in it where I can filter by customer and I have a macro to make a pdf from every client.

The next month I start from the same excel file, delete all current data en paste the new one in it. But when I run the macro pdf's are made from clients who are not in the pivot table, they aren't even in the excel file. The previous month they where in there, but not the current month. The pdfs from the customers that aren't in the excel have the data of the previous customer that is in the excel. For example, in the first excel there was customer 1 to 5. in the second excel there is only customer 1 and 3. the pdf's that are made are for customer 1 to 5. But customer 1 and 2 have the data from customer 1. And 3 to 5 have the data from customer 3.

I will attach two test files. In the macro you will have to change the file location.

If anyone knows a solution, please let me know. Thanks

Wow! Thanks! You can't imagine how long I've been looking for this!
I guess I used the wrong search terms...

maybe one more question, or do I have to make a new thread for this?

We have some customers with for example a / in their name. The macro i'm using isn't able to handle this. Is there a way to delete or replace the charachters that aren't allowed? I also googled this, but the sollutions I find don't seem to work for me (or, of course, I am doing something wrong)

If it's only 1 illegal character you could do something like this.
