Pop-up error message when cells are blank

Based on the first image, if the users fill in the serial no. column in col B (it doesn't have to be all 10 of them, as long as one is filled), they need to fill up the other columns from col C to col F. Hence, if col B is filled up but any of the cells in col C to F are not filled up, I want an error message to pop up. Second image is the values for the drop-down list.

I'm not sure if Worksheet_SelectionChange will work...because I don't want to include a command button. As some users may not bother clicking on the command button to verify their inputs. This is the code I have at the moment and it is not working. Please feel free to advise accordingly....thank you

Re: Pop-up error message when cells are blank

Hi and welcome to the forum

Pictures are of little value. Honestly, no one wants to re-type your data to try and solve your issue. Additionally, we would only be guessing at how your data was structured, ie. formulas, formatting, etc. Additionally, due to how some browsers behave, many of our members cannot see uploaded pictures/images. Please do not take this route.

Please attach a sample file that represents what you have. The structure of your attachment should be the same structure as your actual data. Any proprietary information should be changed.

Include in the attachment any code you're currently using (whether it works or not) and an "After" of what you wish the output to be.

To attach a file to your post,
click advanced (next to quick post),
scroll down until you see "manage file",
click that and select "add files" (top right corner).
click "select files" find your file, click "open" click "upload" click 'done" bottom right. click "submit reply"

Once the upload is completed the file name will appear below the input boxes in this window.
You can then close the window to return to the new post screen.

    Hi Dave,

Just to let you know...I did try to upload a copy of the file but there is clearly something wrong with the website as seen in the image below:

Would appreciate if you helped to verify this instead. thx

Unfortunately the attachment icon doesn't work at the moment (it hasn't worked for years, and despite our repeatedly asking the technical team who own the forum to fix it, they can't be bothered to do so), so to attach an Excel file you have to do the following: just before posting, scroll down to Go Advanced and then scroll down to Manage Attachments. Now follow the instructions at the top of that screen.
