I have a worksheet [Summary] which uses a sumif formula to calculate approved spend in each programme from a table in another worksheet [Approval Status] in my non-profit organisation which works perfectly.
=SUMIF(Approval8[[Action ]],Summary!C4,Approval8[PO Amt])
I would like to be able to mouseover each cell that contains this formula and have the cell's comment box show the values (and ideally the corresponding [Project Name]) that makes up this total.
I have an image of the kind of thing I am trying to automate but can't post this here as it is my first time posting. I have no idea how to go about this apart from knowing it should be possible using VBA and being able to do the basics with VBA. I couldn't find a post on how to do this on this forum or on others. Any help at all would be most appreciated.
