Convert values in range to text

    Hi,

I was wondering if there is a VBA script where it will look at a range C2:C100 and convert the cell values to text - and this is text with the little green triangle in the upper left hand corner of each cell.. I have other macros that are trying to pull information in and they are not working even if I change it to text...

How is this range populated...Ideally you can set the format prior to population...Can't say without an upload...
    Good Luck
I don't presume to know what I am doing, however, just like you, I too started somewhere...

So this is populated by a Copy paste from another workbook, which the formatting carries over - I know you can do a copy paste values and it would work but others within the workplace wont understand that concept....

Re: Convert values in range to text

    Hello,

I was wondering if anyone could come up with a better method of converting numbers into text - where the ending result displays the little Green Arrow in the upper left hand corner of each cell. I need this format because I have numbers that need to have leading zeros, however, my existing method loops through each cell and takes a while with 10,000+ Rows. I was wondering if this could be possible with a scripting dictionary or enhancing my code below?
