input/selection required based on cell value

Hi,

I want to get the user to either select a value from a drop down list or enter either annual salary or hourly rate depending on cell values.

to explain, in column B a user selects, from a drop down list, one of
FT
PT
Cas
Cas_fixed_rate.

If FT is selected, the next column (C) will populate with a list of salary grades, the list will include the text "SALARY".
If one of the salary grades is selected then nothing needs to be done in the code, but if Salary is selected, then I need a pop up that asks "Please enter annual salary"
the user will enter the salary amount which will populate in column S.

if the user selects cas, then the user will select from a list of salary grades (nothing needs to be done in the code)

if the user selects either PT or Cas_fixed_rate, then a pop up will ask "please enter hourly rate".
the user will enter the hourly rate which will populate in column AB for Cas_fixed_rate or AD for PT.
column C will populate with "fixed hourly rate"

I think I have the population of column C right - I have used data validation, with the source being an indirect reference to the value in column B which is also a range name.

I just need the code to get the pop ups to appear depending on the options selected above.

Please attach a sample workbook (not a picture or pasted copy). Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.
