Find and recall a record in Userform

I'm new to VBA and have created a userform for data entry. I have now been asked to create a button on the userform to allow the data entry person to recall a record and update it if necessary. I've have really tried to solve it myself but can't seem to find a consistent approach and feel totally out of my depth. I'd really appreciate any pointers on where to start.

The data is then submitted and form cleared for the next record using the following code (only part of it as loads of fields!)
