autonumbering column with header

Hi everybody!
I'm trying to autonumber column "A" from a table that has a header in row 1.
The autonumber goes automatically till the last row with data in "B".
My problem is that i don't know how to tell the code that there is a header in row 1 and autonumbering should start in row 2. Can anyone give a hand pls? thank you so much
