    Try such macro:

    it (as presented above) detects six, five and four numbers repeated.
    Change (as noted in the code):

    to

    to get information only on doubles, triples and quads.

    As usually - you have shown only input data :-( , no expected output, so please do adjust yourself the output form to your needs.
    Best Regards,

    Kaper

    Re: detect recurring subsets of * doubles, threes, quadruples of numbers repeated in lotte

    @AliGW:
    Well, I've heard about this prize sharing by jorel since some 5 years. See for instance: https://www.excelforum.com/excel-pro...ach-other.html

    May be jorel - you are just "never lucky" player case. :-)
    There are some people who are lucky enough in love, family, work, etc, that they are never ever lucky in cards, lotteries, ...

    Anyway I like your (jorel's) threads, because they are simple examples to train combinatorics programming.
    And somehow (is it already pervert? or just freak?) - I like this type of excercises.

    Back to phrase/idiom "Pigs will fly", we have equivalent in Polish: "Cactus will grow on my palm" (Kaktus mi na dłoni wyrośnie), which sounds equally impossible :-)

    Best,

    Kaper
