Tracking Log

Hello all,

I was wondering if someone out there would be able to help me with adding a tracking log to a workbook I am working on. I have a file that has a somewhat exact example of the tracking log (attachment - 8097 (1)), but since I am not very familiar with VBA, I can't figure out how to add this code to my file (attachment - Staffing Levels). Thank you in advance for anyone that can help me with this.

Thank you so much this works very well. I was viewing the code in the other document I uploaded and it really was complicated.

Quick question, is it possible to have the changed cells highlight and in the Tracker sheet with a button to approve edits?

Highlight the changed cells is doable.

Explain what you mean by approving the edits. Have another cell on each line of change indicating the change was approved by someone ... or what ?

So if the user opens the file and makes any changes, those changed cells will highlight until another user (approver) opens the file and accesses the "tracker" sheet. The approver will review all edits then select a button (approve edits) which clears the highlighted cells while continuing to still record all changes including the approver selecting the "approved edits" button.

So I came across something else. I would like to hide or very hidden this sheet, if not those I would like to password protect the sheet so that nobody can make changes to the tracked edits. Is this possible?

Thank you for all of your help. You have been very helpful and patient as I keep coming back with questions. the last module you gave me worked well, but I think I may have one more question. I replied to this post here because as I am finalizing the excel file and started adding color to my title headers whenever I press the approve button it clears my header's colors as well. Is there any way to prevent this?
