Hello everyone. Well I volunteered myself to make this "on call" roster at work and I am over thinking it huge. But I wanna stick with it because I've always wanted to learn new stuff in excel. And the idea with this little project touches a few different things. I have 3 buttons, a column for employee names, and a column for the date next to those names when they worked(making the next name without a date the next man up).
Buttons
"worked" - highlight the next name down the list and insert current date in date column
"sick" - exchange the current name with the next name down
"rollback changes" - simply undo changes since last save
I attached a screen cap of what I'm hoping for. Look this is not a big deal and I get it if no one wants to mess with it so please don't feel obligated in anyway. we could always run with a hard copy of this, not as fun though!!
