Remove duplicates

Hi all,

I need some help here.

I have a long list with names and each name has a dedicated number. Each name has the same number always. This names were participating in a contest and received different rankings for their performances. So, evey name has the same unique number and a number of entries with different rankings. I would like to remove from each name all the duplicates and keep only the one with the lowest ranking.
