I have a excel application for tracking results in our projects and results of our imployees.
I work in a construction company with both small and large construction jobs.
As it is with bidding on construction jobs, some you win and some you loose.
The purpose of my application is to track the statistics of the wins and looses both of the projects and the employees and also who we loose to or win over.
Theese statistics help me se if our employees win certin type of projects and loose others.
This helps me place the projects with the right employee as there sometimes can be months of work calculating the price of renovating a school, just for an example.
If we doen't win the project, thats monts of work we doen't get paid for.
When ever we get a new project, it gets sent to my department and we go over the project and find out who takes it.
The project info is then stored in a folder and named with the address of the project, the main folder with all projects in, is on our server.
The person who gets the project now opens my application and enters the project information in the New Project UserForm.

That sends it to the sheet with pending project, theese can also be seen on frontpage.

When the project is calculated and the Poject bid (Price) is sent and we get the result of our bid, the project is sent to the database sheet with updated project info.

This Info can be read in the datebase with the sort functions or in the dasboard.

There is also a simple statistic to se how the cases are set between the employees and how they have done on them.

So this is what we use it for, but I now realize that the amount of cases will increase and it might be better to have a real database.
There is also the problem that the application can only be used by one person a time.
My thought is that I could use this as a frontend application and have maybe a Access batabase as Backend.
I have never used Access or any other database so I am not sure what to go with and how to do it.
I have also only been using VBA for abought 18 months, but I got the hang of that now.
I hope someone can help on this and guide me in the right direction.
Sorry for not uploading a sample, but it is full of sensetive information and my company has paid for the application.
