Code not saved

Yesterday I added a module and wrote some code. When finished, I saved the spreadsheet, closed the application, and shut the computer down. This morning, when I opened the spreadsheet the module was nowhere to be found.

I had a problem a couple weeks ago where I was e-mailing a macro-enabled spreadsheet to someone to review and they couldn't see the module.

Where exactly do the modules have to be located in the Project Explorer to be saved properly and accessible in cases like this? Can they be moved around if opened in an improper place? What is likely happening to cause the problem?
