Trying to add multiple images to a spreadsheet from a file folder.

    Hi all,

Really need some help adding images into an excel spreadsheet.

Layout of the sheet is basic.

Titles and pre set image populates rows 1-5.

Macro will need to start from row 6 onwards on a loop.

D6 is The first image name and E6 is where the image needs to appear. This will need to descend - images in E6, E7, E8 and so on.

Images are saved in a file folder on my hard drive

If there is no image in the file folder, then a message box will need to display warning that the filename has no image. Once this box has been dismissed, ideally, I will need the macro to continue on a loop until no more file names exist.

If the images can also be pasted in a way which enables me to send the file who does not have the images on the hard drive then that would be useful. (I can ask them to print to pdf if this is not possible)

Also, Not sure if possible but is there a way for a message box to appear once the spreadsheet has finished the macro fully to list the total images missed and the filenames? This would be really helpful.

I hope this is received well, please let me know if the above can be done. I really appreciate your support.

    Matt.

    Hi,

    Thank you so much,

The macro is erroring "52", Bad filename?

I have added the folder in place of fruits and the following is being highlighted. If Dir(fn) = "" Then

    Any ideas?

I am sure this is a rookie error on my part!!! Thank you again for the help.

    Matt.

    My fault.
