How to prevent "code inserts" into worksheets?

So I've created worksheets that record data through user forms.

The problem is that savvy users can figure out your formulas and code by inserting Excel functions instead of text.

For example, instead of entering a "Description" they can enter "=Row()" and figure out the row numbers, or any number of functions. How to prevent that other than forcing a " ' " as the first character?

Whether this goes from userform or they input directly in worksheet cell?

correct. If they enter that in the userform. Anyway, I fixed it by writing a Sub that just strips off any spaces or equal signs from the beginning of any text.
